K.R.  Somasundaram the Second son of Mu. Ramalingam, in addition to assisting his father in his studio was a painter of repute. The works of K.R. Somasundaram were also taken for calendar printing by the printers of Sivakasi.  He has drawn 100+ paintings for reproduction as prints for calendars
