He was born in Devadanam (Theni District) and joined the studio. This artist specialised in the creation and execution of studio backdrops, oil portraits and his backdrops were sold throughout the Country. He started a photo studio “Lalitha Studio” which is functional till date at Kovilpatti. He was one of the pillars of Sri Ambal Arts from 1944 to 1953.
